Hello JC community! The Rose Avenue Urban Farm is looking for volunteers to help us develop our farm and continue progress. Our volunteer days operate every Friday from 8AM to 10AM or 11AM.
Responsibilities include:
- Watering growing plants
- Transferring soil to garden beds
- Planting seeds
- Pulling and throwing away weeds
We will provide gloves and all needed equipment, as well as refreshments. Please wear long sleeves and long pants to avoid bug bites and dirt. We always aim to provide a safe, loving community! Our seasoned volunteers know how to make the work fun, and we'd love for you to come join us!
