Hosted by the City of Jersey City, Keep Jersey City Beautiful (KJCB) inspires and educates people to take action toward improving and beautifying their community by mobilizing volunteers to roll up their sleeves and help clean our city on a single day! In honor of Earth Day, we celebrate the Annual Great Jersey City Cleanup to encourage residents, civic organizations, community leaders, and elected officials to take greater responsibility for improving the environment they live in.

Ward A: Columbia Park
Ward B: Lincoln Park (West Side Entrance)
Ward C: Journal Square Plaza
Ward D: Riverview Park
Ward E: Hamilton Park
Ward F: Arlington Park
Gloves and trash/recycling bags will be provided, however, a limited quantity of equipment will be available to borrow so if you have your own brooms, rakes, litter grabbers, etc. please bring them (they are your responsibility). Remember to stay hydrated, keep cool, and wear appropriate clothing.
Volunteers must agree to a safety liability waiver before participating in the Cleanup.
Please take “before”, “during”, and “after” photos of the cleanup and post them to social media using the hashtags: #kjcb and #greatjccleanup
