Pershing Field Garden Friends will lead the Spring Planting on Sat, May 13. This is a great opportunity for families and friends to work together planting, mulching, and weeding throughout Pershing Field Park.
No experience necessary, you will be taught how to plant and care for garden beds. Gloves and tools will be provided. Wear clothes that can get dirty. We will be highlighting the entrances and monuments in Pershing Field Park with the plantings.
This free event will run from 10 AM - 1 PM. Sign-ups ahead are necessary. Children must be accompanied by an adult. Meet in front of the Community Center in Pershing Field Park. Pizza lunch will be provided for volunteers.
