America Needs You (ANY) is a nonprofit organization that empowers first-generation college students by providing mentorship and intensive career development to improve college completion and employment rates and achieve academic and professional success. Founded in 2009 by Robert Reffkin, ANY addresses the barriers socioeconomic status poses to education and career success. Initially based in New York, the organization expanded to New Jersey, Illinois, and California, mobilizing young professionals to mentor students and help them achieve economic mobility. Through its programs, ANY creates pathways for students to overcome challenges and reach their full potential.

Today’s competitive world requires talented leaders with the skills, confidence, and experience to thrive in the workforce. ANY provides intensive mentoring, career development training, and networking opportunities to help students build the skills and connections they need to succeed in college and launch their careers.

By providing each student with a structured career development curriculum, extensive professional networks, and internship support, ANY’s Fellows graduate from college, secure employment, and succeed after graduation at higher rates than their peers.
